I was born and raised in Tacoma. After graduating from and Alternative High School I had a lot of odd jobs for a few years before I could save up enougth to come to TCC. While working as an RV mechanic during the day, I would come to school at night and chip away at my Associate Degree. After TCC, I went on to study at the University of Puget Sound and later received my Master's Degree in Education. I understand the challenges that working adults face balancing school, work, and life and bring that to the classroom. Keep climbing and you will get there. There might be a few set backs along the way but learn from you mistakes, keep grinding, and have your goals in sight. I pretty much guarantee that you have been through harder challenges in life than this class. Tap that strenght that you have demonstrated to get this far and know that although you are not done yet, you will achieve through, grit, tenacity, perserverance.
